These simple DIY fixes could help fix your problem:

  • Dishes Are Still Dirty. If your dishes are still dirty, make sure you’re loading your dishwasher properly. If a bowl blocks a casserole dish, for example, the casserole dish may not get as clean.
  • Dishwasher Won’t Drain. Check your dishwasher’s filter and remove any food and debris. The filter is at the bottom of your dishwasher.
  • Dishes Are Still Wet. If your dishwasher has a Sani-Rinse dispenser, make sure you’re using Sani-Rinse for each load.
  • Dishwasher Won’t Turn On. First, make sure your dishwasher is plugged in. Next, check the break to make sure it hasn’t tripped.
  • Dishwasher is Too Noisy. Check to make sure the spray arms aren’t blocked by a dish. Then reload your dishwasher as needed.
