About Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho

Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho is a locally owned small business

For Lonny Walker, owner of Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho, serving the community is personal. Born and raised in Southeast Idaho, Lonny has spent most of his life in the region and understands the importance of building a business that neighbors can trust.

After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Idaho State University and gaining experience in construction and building maintenance, Lonny saw an opportunity to provide a valuable service to local homeowners. He completed appliance repair and refrigeration training in Ohio and became a Mr. Appliance owner in 2010.

Lonny was drawn to Mr. Appliance because of its Code of Values, particularly the belief in treating others as you would want to be treated. That philosophy continues to guide how his team approaches every customer interaction.

Today, Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho serves homeowners and businesses throughout Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, Blackfoot, Rigby, and other communities within its service area. Our locally owned business has five technicians, most of whom have been with the company for more than five years.

Although we're part of a nationally recognized franchise, our daily business decisions are made locally, by people who live and work in the communities we serve.

For Lonny, the most rewarding part of owning the business is getting to know customers personally and providing a service they can depend on.

Professional Appliance Repair You Can Feel Confident About

Community involvement is an important part of Lonny Walker's life outside of appliance repair.

Lonny has spent approximately a decade coaching high school wrestling, including serving as a head coach. He believes youth sports teach valuable lessons about discipline, teamwork, accountability, and perseverance.

Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho also supports local school activities and youth sports teams.

For Lonny, being a locally owned business means more than providing a service. It means participating in the community, building meaningful relationships, and being accountable to the neighbors who depend on his team.

After more than 16 years in business, nearly half of the company's customers are returning customers. Lonny sees that loyalty as a reflection of the trust his team works to earn through dependable service and follow-through.

Our goal is to provide appliance repair customers can trust from the first appointment through the completed repair. We want customers to feel comfortable inviting our Service Professionals into their homes, so our team follows established procedures that include confirming an adult is present, wearing shoe covers, treating the home respectfully, and leaving the work area in the condition we found it or better.

Before moving forward with a repair, we provide an estimate so customers understand what is wrong with the appliance and what the repair will cost. We do not want customers to encounter unexpected charges after work has already begun.

Mr. Appliance of Southeast Idaho is factory-authorized with many major appliance manufacturers, including high-end and luxury brands. This gives our team access to manufacturer service information, technical resources, training, and current service bulletins that can help us diagnose and repair appliances properly.

We also use OEM parts rather than relying on lower-quality aftermarket alternatives. Through Mr. Appliance's relationship with parts distributors and our own local parts warehouse, we work to keep commonly needed parts available and reduce repair turnaround times whenever possible.

For qualifying repairs completed outside of a manufacturer or third-party warranty, we back our parts and labor for one year. Our work is also supported by the Neighborly Done Right Promise®.

After more than 16 years in business, nearly half of our customers are returning customers. We believe that loyalty comes from a simple approach: do what we say we are going to do, stand behind our work, and be accountable when something does not go according to plan.
